Oslo

DAY 1: ARRIVAL

At arrival Oslo airport you find your way into Oslo city center.

From here you can explore Oslo’s rich cultural life, exciting galleries and museums with public transport or by walking. Oslo is one of Europe’s fastest growing big cities and a green city. In 2019 the city was appointed European environmental capital.

DAY 2: OSLO

Use the day to explore Oslo. Some of the most visited attractions are the Munch Museum, the National Museum, Viking Ship Museum, the Royal Palace, and Holmenkollen. Oslo consists of modern art galleries, pleasant districts with cozy cafés, and green parks.

Skåbu Hotell - Ansgar Valbø

DAY 3: SKÅBU

Today you travel inland to Skåbu, Norway’s highest situated inhabited village. Skåbu is part of Gudbrandsdalen and lies centrally placed at the steps to several national parks. Enjoy a fantastic three-course dinner based on local ingredients from own farm, fish and game.

DAY 4: AURLAND

Mountain landscape turns into fjord landscape, and this afternoon you arrive to beautiful Aurland. Here you shall overnight at 292 Aurland, a charming boutique hotel in the heart of Nærøyfjord world heritage area and the lush Aurlands Valley.

Lower the shoulders and enjoy fresh fjord air!

Stegastein - Flåm

DAY 5 AND 6: AURLAND

Explore Aurland and the area around. Join on a fjord cruise into the Aurland fjord and Nærøy fjord, which in 2005 became part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Here you glide through the fjord landscape in silence. The fjords are surrounded by majestic mountain peaks, wild waterfalls and lush vegetation. In the mountain side you can hear sheep bleat and waterfalls roar.

It is also possible to join several great hikes with and without guide in the nearby area.

Bergen

DAY 7: BERGEN

You arrive Bergen, one of Norway’s oldest cities, known as the city between the 7 mountains and “Gateway to the fjords”. Popular attractions are the Fløybanen, Bryggen, the fish market and the aquarium. Bryggen in Bergen is on UNESCO’s list of world cultural heritage.

DAY 8: LOFOTEN

The journey continues to majestic Lofoten. Here, steep mountains rise up from the sea and form a spectacular landscape. In summer you can experience midnight sun and in winter the Northern Lights.

You shall stay in a hidden fishing village, Nusfjord and you’ll get to experience the essence of Lofoten! You will stay in authentic fishermen’s cabins adapted with modern comfort and luxury. Gladly join a guided tour through the historical center, where the fish hang to dry as it has done for all years and you can enjoy fantastic food in one of the restaurants in the area.

In the afternoon you can enjoy the outdoor spa with sauna and outdoor hot tub.

XXLofoten Trollfjorden

DAY 9 – 11: NUSFJORD

Wake up to the sound of sea splash and the smell of salt water, seaweed and kelp. To overnight in a traditional fishermen’s cabin is the best way to experience North Norwegian coastal culture up close. Use the days to explore Lofoten.

Join a fishing trip with a local fishing boat or travel in RIB boat into Trollfjord on the lookout for the majestic sea eagle. A local guide talks about the nature and local history along the way. Another day you can explore the areas around Henningsvær or Reine. There are many possibilities for fantastic hikes.

Lofoten - Eivind

DAY 12: JOURNEY HOME

After refreshing breakfast you’ll check-out and travel back to the airport for your return.
