DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Arrive in Tromsø, often called the “Paris of the North,” by flight from Oslo. Transfer to your hotel, either in the city center or nearby.
From October to March, Tromsø is one of the best places in the world to witness the Northern Lights. In the evening, join an experienced guide for an unforgettable Northern Lights hunt.

DAY 2 & 3: TROMSØ & WHALE SAFARI
From November to January, some of the world’s largest and most majestic marine animals migrate from the deep ocean to the coast of Troms in search of herring. Humpback whales, orcas, fin whales, and porpoises gather in large groups in a feeding spectacle like no other. Experience these incredible animals up close, either from a RIB boat or a partially electric hybrid boat – a truly spectacular adventure.
In the afternoon, visit a Sami reindeer herding family that has worked with reindeer for generations. Meet around 300 reindeer and immerse yourself in Sami culture and traditions. Enjoy a memorable reindeer sledding experience and savor traditional Sami cuisine.

DAY 4: ALTA
The journey continues to the Northern Lights city of Alta, where a true Arctic adventure awaits with first-class accommodation at Sorrisniva. Sorrisniva Wilderness Lodge is located along the Alta River, offering stunning panoramic views. Look forward to exceptional dining experiences and unforgettable encounters with nature.
Spend the afternoon exploring the area and enjoying the lodge’s surroundings. Keep an eye out the window – perhaps a moose will appear from the forest, or a sea eagle will be hunting along the riverbank. In the evening, join a guided Northern Lights safari for a magical experience.

DAY 5: ICEHOTEL
Today, you will stay overnight at the world’s northernmost ice hotel. Rebuilt each winter from natural snow and ice, the hotel features a new and unique theme every year. The structure, all the furniture, and artistic installations are crafted by local sculptors.
The ice hotel experience offers a truly special igloo-like atmosphere, with overnight stays on beds made of ice and covered with warm, soft reindeer hides.

DAG 6: ALTA

DAY 7: SVALBARD
After breakfast and check-out, you will travel to Alta Airport and continue your journey to Svalbard.
Now you are in the realm of the polar bear. Even if you don’t see one, a polar bear may not be far away. Residents here always keep this in mind when moving outside town. This is one of the few places in the world where you might spot something as unusual as mothers with strollers carrying rifles on their backs.
Upon arrival at Longyearbyen Airport and check-in at your hotel, you can spend the afternoon exploring this small Arctic metropolis.

DAY 8: ARCTIC DOG SLEDDING
One of the best ways to experience the mighty Svalbard landscape is with your very own dog team. After a brief training session with your guide, you will harness your own team of dogs. No prior experience is needed to drive your own sled.
1, 2, 3, swish – and you’re off! Along the way, you may stop at an ice cave or enjoy lunch out in the wilderness.
Prepare for a thrilling day filled with a sense of mastery and rosy cheeks from the Arctic air.

DAYS 9-11: ISFJORD RADIO
Today you travel 4-5 hours by snowmobile to Isfjord Radio, a former 1933 radio station transformed into an experience hotel. Rugged on the outside, but cozy on the inside.
Around the station, Svalbard reindeer roam freely, and if you’re lucky, you might spot the rare Arctic fox. The station also boasts Svalbard’s finest sauna with panoramic views of the Barents Sea. Remember, whenever you go outside, you must be accompanied by a polar bear guard. Here, you live on the polar bear’s terms and bears frequently roam near the station.
